La Casa de las Bugambilias Bed and Breakfast was originally the home of the Cabrera Arroyo family. Rene Cabrera and Mariana Arroyo raised their six children in this beautiful home located in the heart of Oaxaca. In 1992, the family decided to formally turn their home into one of the first Bed and Breakfast in Oaxaca. A truly family-run business, Las Bugambilias Bed and Breakfast is the result of the creativity and energy of Mariana and her children.
Breakfast at Casa de las Bugambilias Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful experience. A two-course breakfast between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the dining room and patio which feature creative Oaxacan cuisine using the freshest natural ingredients and locally grown organic produce.
This intimate guest house, just one block from the legendary baroque Santo Domingo Cathedral and Cultural Museum, is the perfect place to stay while visiting sacred sites, markets, and restaurants and will be a sanctuary from which to begin and end each day.
