Lammas Macrame Wall Hanging Workshop

In Celtic mythology Lugh (similar to the Roman god Mercury) was known as a god of both skill and the distribution of talent. Lammas, or Lughnasad, honors Lugh, the patron god of blacksmiths and artisans.

We will honor this turn in the wheel of the year by learning the art of macrame.

Class includes: Lammas meditation, bread and tea in honor of the harvest season, instruction on macrame weaving techniques and materials to make one macrame wall hanging. Wooden dowels for hanging included (you may bring your own stick to use instead of the supplied dowels if you prefer).
